Last Month at Hope 360

Hey friends,

Last month, Christy and I had such a great time at the women's Sparkle Conference at River Valley Church in Apple Valley, Minnesota! Over 1,600 women attended! We had a table full of Christy’s amazing baked goods - especially her awesome cinnamon rolls! We were selling them as a fundraiser for Hope360, and they were a huge hit!

Our kids jumped in to help, and one of our awesome Hope360 board members came out to lend a hand too — we’re so thankful!

It was such a fun way to meet people, share some smiles, chat about what Hope360 is all about, and pass out our brochure.

At Hope360, we inspire, equip, and empower Christians to share their testimonies. We truly believe that every story matters - and that God can use your story to bring hope and lead others to Jesus. The Unforeseen Impact: How Sharing Your Testimony Can Create Invisible Waves

The Power of Sharing Your Testimony:

Sharing your testimony is more than recounting your life experiences—it’s declaring the faithfulness of God. It's not just about you; it's about how Jesus has worked in and through your life. As it says in Revelation 12:11, “They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.” Your story can become a powerful tool in God's hands, inspiring others to seek Him, find healing, and walk in truth.

The Nature of Testimonies

At its heart, a testimony is a declaration of God’s grace, mercy, and transforming power in your life. Whether you’ve walked through a trial, experienced redemption, or grown in your faith, your testimony reveals the reality of God’s work. As you share, you're inviting others to witness His faithfulness. Like the Psalmist declared, “Come and hear, all you who fear God; let me tell you what he has done for me” (Psalm 66:16).

Even stories of struggle—like facing depression, fear, or failure—can shine a light on God's sustaining presence. Testimonies show others they are not alone, and that God is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).

The Power of Vulnerability

God uses our weaknesses to display His strength. When you open up about your struggles, you reflect Christ’s heart—He, too, was “a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief” (Isaiah 53:3). Vulnerability fosters authenticity and trust, allowing others to see Jesus at work in your imperfections.

Paul reminds us, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9). In sharing openly, you create space for real, Christ-centered relationships to flourish.

Creating a Ripple Effect

Testimonies can spark a chain reaction of faith. One person’s obedience in sharing their story can lead others to repentance, healing, or boldness. Your testimony may be the seed God uses to transform a heart. Remember the Samaritan woman in John 4—her simple story led an entire town to Jesus.

“Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman’s testimony” (John 4:39). What a beautiful example of how a personal encounter with Christ can lead to widespread transformation.

Finding Your Voice

Don’t underestimate the value of your story. Whether dramatic or seemingly ordinary, your testimony has worth because it’s a reflection of God's unique work in your life. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide your words and give you boldness. As 1 Peter 3:15 says, “Always be prepared to give an answer... for the hope that you have.”

Understand who you’re speaking to and let your heart’s motive be to glorify God and encourage others. Authenticity over polish will always have the greatest impact.

Platforms for Sharing

God can use any platform for His glory. Whether it’s social media, blogs, videos, here on Hope 360, small groups, or one-on-one conversations, your story can be a vessel of hope. Jesus met people in synagogues, at wells, on boats, and in homes—there’s no wrong place to share truth.

Ask yourself, “Where has God given me influence?” Start there, and trust Him with the reach.

The Importance of Community

Testimonies don’t just uplift individuals—they build the Church. In sharing your story, you invite others into community, and you help create a culture where honesty and transformation are celebrated. “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up...” (1 Thessalonians 5:11).

Whether through church gatherings, testimony nights, or Christian podcasts, participating in community storytelling brings mutual encouragement and deeper fellowship.

Embracing the Journey

You don’t have to share everything all at once. God often reveals the right time, place, and people for your testimony. Be patient with the process and trust that He will use your obedience for His glory.

As you reflect on your story, you may even find healing and fresh insight into God's plan for your life. “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion” (Philippians 1:6).

Final Thoughts

Your testimony is more than a story—it’s a declaration of God’s love, faithfulness, and redemptive power. Through it, others can encounter Jesus, experience healing, and be drawn into community. While the full impact may never be seen this side of heaven, rest assured, your story matters.

So speak boldly. Share humbly. Let your life be a light that points to Christ.

“Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story—those he redeemed from the hand of the foe” (Psalm 107:2).
